Jagruti Steels Pvt. Ltd. ("Jagruti Steels", "we", "our", or "us") is an established OEM manufacturer of stainless steel cookware components, operating production facilities in Mumbai and Sarigam, Gujarat, India. We serve international cookware brands, private label importers, and commercial kitchenware distributors across North America, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

We understand that our B2B procurement partners share proprietary product specifications, custom CAD tooling drawings, material schedules, and confidential corporate communications with us. This Privacy Policy sets out our policies regarding the collection, handling, storage, and protection of information received through our global web platform and direct commercial channels.

1. Commercial Confidentiality & OEM Intellectual Property Protection

Protecting custom tool tooling geometry, embossing patterns, component dimensions, and private-label identities is fundamental to our business model. As a build-to-print white-label manufacturer operating since 1974, Jagruti Steels guarantees that:

• Client Tooling Integrity: Technical drawings, dies, stamping punches, and CAD files provided for OEM production remain the exclusive intellectual property of the buyer.
• Non-Disclosure Compliance: We willingly execute bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) prior to receiving proprietary engineering specifications or prototype RFQs.
• No Cross-Market Branding: We never market, list, or sell finished custom parts manufactured under client tooling to third-party distributors or competing brands.

2. Information We Collect

A. Business Contact & Sourcing Information

When your procurement, engineering, or international trade team communicates with us, we collect business contact parameters necessary to establish commercial proposals, including:

• • Corporate name, registered business address, tax identification or VAT/GST details.
• • Purchasing officer or engineer name, professional email address, and corporate telephone/WhatsApp number.
• • Technical RFQ inputs: engineering drawings, alloy grades (e.g., SS 430 / EN 1.4016, SS 304), thickness tolerances, annual volume projections, and target incoterms (FOB JNPT Port, CIF, CFR).

B. Operational & Logistics Documentation

For fulfilled orders, we maintain required export paperwork including Certificates of Origin, Mill Test Reports (MTRs), customs declarations (HS codes 7220.90.90 / 7326.90.99), bill of lading records, and bank payment verifications.

C. Automated Technical Data

Our web servers record standard HTTP request logs (IP addresses, user-agent details, system language, operating platform) strictly for cyber-security monitoring, infrastructure diagnostics, and optimized site performance.

3. Purpose of Processing & Legal Grounds

Jagruti Steels processes corporate data strictly under legitimate business interests, contractual necessity, and statutory compliance, specifically to:

1. Evaluate technical feasibility, toolmaking costs, and generate accurate pricing quotations for OEM components.
2. Dispatch sample production runs, first-article inspection (FAI) reports, and mill test certificates for material validation.
3. Coordinate export ocean freight, container load scheduling, customs clearance, and banking documentation.
4. Satisfy mandatory trade regulations, tax audits, export control laws, and manufacturing quality compliance inspections.

4. International Data Security Standards & Cross-Border Safety

As an international manufacturing exporter, we transfer data securely between overseas buyer offices and our industrial units in India. We enforce appropriate technical and organizational controls to protect commercial data against unauthorized access, theft, or misuse:

• Encrypted Transmission: Web communications are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3/HTTPS).
• Restricted Internal Access: Technical specifications and commercial agreements are accessible strictly on a need-to-know basis by authorized toolroom engineers and account directors.
• Data Center Security: Digital archives and production scheduling servers are protected by enterprise firewalls and secure cloud backup protocols.

5. Information Sharing & Third-Party Limitations

Jagruti Steels does not sell, lease, commercialize, or trade business contact data or client component specifications to third-party marketing firms or data brokers. Corporate information is disclosed exclusively to vetted partners required for contract execution:

• • Accredited metallurgy laboratories and independent testing houses (e.g., SGS, TÜV, Intertek) when client-requested certified testing is required.
• • Licensed freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for container dispatch from JNPT / Nhava Sheva Port, Mumbai.
• • Government authorities, customs officials, or financial institutions where mandatory under applicable international trade laws or statutory banking mandates.

6. Global Regulatory Compliance & Buyer Rights

We respect the legal rights of international buyers regarding their corporate data under applicable global data protection regimes, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and equivalent regional standards.

Procurement teams and corporate partners have the right to request access to their stored business records, request corrections to contact details, or request the deletion of non-statutory commercial correspondence upon contract completion.
